Water Heater Repair & Installation in Toronto

No hot water? Call and we'll tell you when we can be there. Tank and tankless, gas and electric. $139 service call, published upfront and applied to your repair.

What We Handle

No hot water at all — Pilot, thermocouple, gas valve or heating element depending on the unit. We diagnose before we quote parts.

Not enough hot water — Undersized tank, a failed dip tube, or sediment buildup eating your capacity.

Water around the base of the tank — Usually the end. A leaking tank is not repairable. Shut off the water supply to it and call — plan on replacement before it fails properly.

Rumbling or popping noises — Sediment on the bottom of the tank. Flushing helps. On an older tank it's a warning.

Rusty or smelly hot water — Anode rod or tank corrosion.

Pilot won't stay lit — Thermocouple on older gas units.

Tankless error codes — Ignition, venting, scale buildup or gas supply. Most tankless faults are the unit telling you exactly what's wrong.

Every gas appliance is worked on by a licensed, TSSA-registered technician.

Tank or Tankless?

Straight comparison, no sales angle.

Stay with a tank if your current setup works, you want the lowest upfront cost, and your household hot water use is predictable. Tanks are simpler, cheaper to replace, and there's nothing wrong with them.

Go tankless if you're running out of hot water regularly, you want the floor space back, or you're staying in the home long enough for the efficiency to pay back the higher install cost.

Worth knowing about tankless: the unit itself isn't usually the expensive part. Venting and gas line changes are where the cost sits, and how much you need depends on your house. We'll tell you the real number after we've seen it.

We install and service both — 40, 50, 60 and 75 gallon tanks, gas and electric, plus tankless.

Energy-Efficient Options

Water heating is usually the second-largest energy cost in a Toronto home, after space heating.

Where the savings actually are:

A right-sized unit. An oversized tank heats water you never use. Sizing to your household beats buying the biggest one available.

Condensing and high-efficiency models. They cost more upfront and pull more of the heat out of the fuel. Worth it if you're staying in the house.

Tankless. Only heats water when you're using it, with no standby loss from a tank sitting warm all day.

Insulating the first few feet of hot water pipe. Cheap, and it works.

We'll tell you which of these is worth doing in your house and which isn't. Some of them pay back in three years and some take fifteen.

Commercial & Business Properties

Restaurants, salons, offices, gyms and multi-unit buildings. Commercial hot water, high-recovery units and multiple-tank systems.

Commercial work is quoted per site — your equipment, your hours, and how much downtime you can afford all change the job.

Call and describe the building. We'll tell you straight whether it's a fit, and if it's outside what we're set up for we'll say so rather than take it on and learn the hard way.

Water Heater Inspection Comes With Our Premium Plan

Annual inspection and flush, plus everything else in the plan. Sediment buildup is what kills tanks early, and it's easy to stay ahead of. Plans start at $27.20 a month.
